I am officially in half-mourning today. As everyone in the U.S. (and probably the world) knows, we re-elected Barack Obama as our President. While I consider myself to be conservative, I am more upset by the fact that the policies and ideology that I wanted in office were not elected. Do I think Mitt Romney was the answer? Maybe not. Do I think Obama is the answer? Hell no! In my opninion, he had his chance to "Change" things. Sure, things in this country changed, but was it for the better? That's what we need to ask ourselves.
When I look back over the last 4 years, the only improvements I've seen in my and the country's situtation has been in the last year? Why you may ask? Well, in my opinion, the positive change that has been happening up until this point has been because Mr. President wishes to be re-elected. He has been heavily pushing through bills and his budget. Keep in mind, that the first budget proposal he issued, when he had a Democratic-controlled Congress, was rejected completely. By BOTH sides!
